Saturday March 3 at the Argyle Rod & Gun Club

Last year, Buddy Huffacker, Executive Director of the Aldo Leopold Foundation, started off by reading "January Thaw" and Ritch Miller of the local National Wild Turkey Federation reads "A Choral Copse".

 

"Think Like a Mountain" Breakfast $5.00 Scouting Venture Crew 1832 chartered by the Sugar River Valley Chapter of Pheasants Forever holds a Mountain Man Breakfast at the Argyle Rod & Gun Club, Saturday morning.  "Mountain Man" is a Dutch Oven Cooked, 1 dish meal, which is a combination of Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Hash browns, Cheese and Onions.  As Ed Gobeli cookes he holds a Dutch Oven Seminar. A Brat/Burger lunch will also provided by Venture Crew 1832.

  Redneck 200 Sporting Clay Shoot

          This is the first leg of a 2 day event put on by the Argyle Rod and Gun Club and Mayville Gun Club.  100 Birds are shot at Argyle on March 3, and 100 birds are shot at Mayville on March 24 followed by Awards Dinner.

 

            Besides the Redneck 200 there will also be a Flurry Shoot and other Sporting Clay options available on March 3, Don't forget your shootgun.
